Welcome to Blackburn Cricket Club.

Blackburn Cricket Club was formed in the late 1880s at Morton Park and was a foundation member of the Box Hill District Cricket Association in 1891.

The Blackburn Cricket Club remains a member of the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association, and plans to be represented in the 2020-2120 season (subject to ground availability), by: 5 open age Saturday teams, including its 1st XI, playing in the top-level grade, the Ray McIntosh Shield; 2 Veterans' Sunday afternoon teams; 2 T20 Tuesday open age evening teams; an all womens side; approximately 18 junior-age teams (from Under 10’s through to Under 16’s, including at least 1 all-girl junior team), playing on Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.

The Club has an extremely well-developed junior program, affording as it does the opportunity for many boys and girls to develop their cricketing skills, whatever their cricketing aspirations may be, and also to develop themselves,  in a safe and well-organised environment.  As well as having multiple junior-age competition teams, which make the Club one of Victoria’s largest, the Club also runs an entry level Super 7's and Fast 9's, along with the Woolworths Junior Blasters, to introduce young boys and girls to cricket. The junior program has been developed in association with local schools and communities, and the participation and development of young boys and girls, in a cricket setting, is its central focus.
