Welcome to Blackburn Cricket Club.
Our Club has given members of the community the opportunity to play cricket for over 122 years. At first, that opportunity was restricted to men, but over time it has extended to boys then to girls and most recently women.

Most of our home games are played on two ovals in the picturesque Morton Park on Central Road, Blackburn and social functions held in our wonderful new pavilion overlooking both grounds. We are proud of our history, but more focused on the present and future.
This season our senior program involves:
-
Five senior men’s teams playing on Saturday afternoons in the Box Hill Reporter District Cricket Association with our 1st XI competing in the Association’s “top flight” for the Ray McIntosh Shield;
-
One senior women’s team playing on Sunday afternoons in the Ringwood District Cricket Association’s C Grade, and;
-
Two T20 teams playing on Tuesday evenings – one in the RDCA and the other in the BHRDCA.
We have a vibrant junior program focused on participation and development with:
-
Woolworths Blasters on Wednesday nights giving young boys and girls a fun introduction to cricket;
-
Two Super 7s and two Fast 9s teams providing a pathway into playing the game;
-
One Under 12, two Under14 and one Under16 boys teams on Friday evenings, and;
-
Two girls teams – one playing on Wednesday evenings and the other Sunday mornings.
An increasing number of our junior players – boys and girls - are also choosing to play in senior teams and/or graduating into the senior ranks from the juniors or to “higher honours” in Premier Cricket. That trend is mirrored in our retired players and former junior parents who continue to be involved with and support our Club.

Everyone is welcome at Blackburn. It is a place where people can grow, develop, have fun, make friends and feel they belong.
