"Round 9 saw Jack Haddrick take an invaluable 5 for 7 from 5 overs.

This was the U14A’s most important match for the year.

A loss could see us tumble out of the finals and being 2^nd vs 3^rd, it wouldn’t be easy.

So the importance of Jack’s bowling can’t be under-stated.

After a wicket from his first ball, he ripped through their upper AND middle order to have them reeling at 7 for 24.

The wickets included some of the competition’s best batsmen including representative players.

Jack’s success should be a lesson for all. He works hard on his bowling at training and has improved throughout the season as a result.
