Dear Life Members, players, members and families of Blackburn CC,

Whilst you would have received information via our newsletter about our upcoming Season Launch being held at our Clubrooms on Thursday 30^th September, we wish to communicate this reminder to you all and extend an invitation for you to join us on the night. 

Our first season launch was held over 5 years ago, and has proved to be a most successful initiative as it provided the opportunity for Life Members, past and present players and members to meet socially prior to the opening round of the season. 

This night is open to each and every member of our club, and whilst it is compulsory for all senior players to attend, we strongly encourage our Under 18 and Under 16 and/or their parents to attend also.  We feel it is really important that parents of all of our junior teams know what our club is about, and this is the perfect opportunity to meet us.

We are delighted to advise that Bob Parry, former Blackburn coach and International Cricket Umpire will be our guest speaker.

This year we are fortunate to have 2 new Major Sponsors, Noel Jones Real Estate and Blackburn South Community Bank (Bendigo Bank).  Both sponsors will be present on the night, and it is important that our members show them our support just as they have generously shown us theirs for not only this season, but also the following two seasons.

With many junior players coming through to the senior ranks, the presence of our more senior members was seen as great support, and provides a sense of pride and encouragement in their advancement to higher grades.

The night begins at 7.00pm and while predominantly an opportunity to socialise with fellow members before the season begins, we will also be announcing our captains of our senior teams, team selections for the first round, , and hear an address to players from former Blackburn coach and International Umpire, Bob Parry.

For our senior players, a reminder also that if you have your subs paid by this date (30/9) you will go into the draw on the night to receive your subs for free!

• Seniors - $280 with $10/week match fees
• Students - $200 with $5/week match fees
• Under 18s - $200 with $5/week match fees

CHAMPAGNE CLUB MEMBERSHIP                           $70

Free champagne/beer/soft drinks between 4-7pm for each results week game & Free BCC Social Cap.

Member who sign up for either the Social or Champagne Club membership (and players with their subs) will be eligible for our $50 Cash Members Draw.  The draw will take place between 7pm-8pm each Results Day (Match Report Nights) at Blackburn.  If you are not there for the draw, the $50 will jackpot each the winner is present for the draw.

Members must be signed up and paid by end of round 3 to be eligible.
