Congratulations
Well Done to Andrew Steele of our 1st team who took out the McIntosh Shield Bowling Award for the season 2009/2010.
Andrew had a fantastic season taking 40 wickets ( see full stats here ). In providing such damaging bowling almost got his team into a Grand Final. Again congratulations Andrew on a ripper season and we are all proud that you were recognised by our Association and our opposition.
In other celebratory news our Vice President Lisa Robertson took the Margaret McIntosh award along with Mrs. Jones from East Burwood. This award is a testament to her dedication not only to the Blackburn Cricket Club but also Cricket itself. Great Job Lisa
Our very own Mike Dwyer was awadred life membership to the BHRDCA earlier this season and reconised at the awards and presented his badge, well done Mike
Other massive news was that Heath O'Dwyer came fourth in the best player of the year award voted by the umpires, the eventual winner was Leigh Odermatt from Heatherdale, a worthy winner. Well done to both.
