COUNCIL REGULATIONS: The Whitehorse Council has advised the following: In its order December 4th 2000 council decreed 19 reserves across the municipality as areas where dogs can be exercised off lead.

IT ALSO PLACED CONDITIONS UPON THAT ARRANGEMENT: One of the conditions is that a dog cannot be off lead within 50 metres of the principal location of an organised sporting event, as such the existing order supports the removal of dogs from an area when people are training or playing
