BHRDCA Defeats ECA

BHRDCA first representative open age team appearance since 2005/2006 has delivered a healthy victory ove Eastern CA.

With a solid start from opening pair Mick Amor 27 (btcc) and Travis Rowe 31 (ebhcc), BHRDCA lost their first wicket at 61 which triggered a mini collapse until Jack Berry 30 (btcc) lead the recovery with our own Heath O'Dwyer 13 from 3/70 to 4/117.

Handy contributions from Luke Mason 20 (btcc) and Adrian Tabacchiera 26 (btcc) helped set a credible target of 9/188cc from their allocated 40 overs.

This ultimately proved beyond the reach of ECA with Mark Jones 6.3-1-14-3 (ebbcc), Blackburn's own Andrew Steele 6-1-24-3 and Damien Yze 4-0-15-2 (ebhcc) prominent in ensuring that all were back in the rooms early to enjoy BlackburnCC hospitality.
