COMPETITION WINNERS

Firstly, we are delighted to announce the winners of our Junior “Tips To Start The Season” competition.  Each winner will receive a $100 Rebel Voucher, and they have been advised of their win by telephone.

The lucky winners are:-

Under 10 – Brant Hubber

Players answered a series of multiple choice questions on topics such as injury prevention, sportsmanship and nutrition for sport.  We received many entries and we hope the kids all enjoyed participating, at the same time learning some useful tips.

Over the next couple of weeks all of our entrants will be contacted via post.

CLUB JACKETS

We have a new club jacket on the way.  The front will don the BCC and Monash Hire logo and our web site will be stitched into the back of the jacket.

The great news is that jacket comes in sizes to suit every club member, juniors and seniors.

Sizes are:-

Adults – XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 5XL (note there is no 4XL).

Kids – Sizes 12,14,16

100% polyester fabric with contrasting micro-fibre panels with inner jersey lining.  Full zip front with 2 zippered pockets.

The cost of the jackets will be $60.00.

As the initial outlay to the club is quite significant we need to gauge a general interest level from our members so that we can place an order.

INDOOR TRAINING

A reminder to our senior players that we are approaching our 4th week of indoor training and there is an expectation that everyone attends.  Please don’t let your fellow team mates, and the Club down by thinking that you will wait a “few more weeks” before your start preparing for the season.  Training is at Maddocks – Blackburn on Monday nights beginning at 7pm.  We hope to see more familiar faces on Monday.

Paul Meilak will be bringing with him, a pair of the sample training shorts which form part of the early payment of subscriptions incentive.  Again, these shorts will have the BCC logo and Monash Logo as well as pockets.  They are a great looking short and we are sure they will be popular.
