Our next Blackchat newsletter is due out next week, however as some upcoming events fast approach we thought a brief note would ensure everyone is kept updated.

Sunday 23^rdNovember – Hugh McDonald (ex Redgum band member) Live at the Clubrooms FROM 12.30pm

As most of you are aware, Lachlan Head is scheduled to have a full knee construction in December following an injury sustained playing in our 1^st Eleven team last month.

Lachy has been an integral part of our club since his junior days and we are holding this afternoon to assist with the expenses he will incur to have this operation and his subsequent recovery.

Hugh McDonald is a fantastic entertainer and we hope to attract a big crowd to enjoy a great afternoon. The day kicks off at 12.30pm and entry is $15 per person.

Saturday 29^th November – Club Ladies Day at Morton Park

Further details will be in the newsletter however we ask all of the ladies of our Club to keep this afternoon free for what is always a great day.

Saturday 29^th November – Raffle Tickets & Money Due Back

Again, further information will be in the newsletter, however we remind everyone of the importance of getting their tickets sold and returned.

Due to the later start of Milo and Under 10 cricket we are still to distribute those tickets and we ask parents of those players to assist in supporting the raffle. We will distribute your tickets this week, and would appreciate you doing your absolute best to sell and return the tickets. Each family will be issued with a book of 10 tickets at $2 per ticket.

If you are a member who has not been issued with any tickets and would like some, please let Lisa know and she will gladly hand you a book.

Saturday 6^th December – Family Christmas Party

BBQ Dinner, Clown, Santa, Jumping Castle and lots of fun. This event is a great one for the club as the young and old mix together for a fantastic night. Weather permitting we will hold the party on the bottom oval, and with all that entertainment, it should be a cracker. Full details will follow in the newsletter next week.

Frank Horne Memorial Match - Cup Eve First Ball @ 5.15PM

Please find attached a flyer about the Cup Eve Twenty/20 match against East Burwood, playing for the Frank Horne Memorial Trophy.

As you are all aware, the Frank Horne match is a highlight of the BCC calendar, and further strengthens our bond with EBBCC, and of course honours the memory of Frank. This season we will be having a t/20 game on cup eve, and want to encourage as much attendance from the club as whole.
